Jul 19, 2007 · There was an article in the "Bulletin" about 15 years ago on the 21 Jewel Timex. According to the author, the 21J Timex came out in about 1960. As was said above, it was Timex's try at a higher grade watch. According to the author, it was a dismal marketing failure for Timex.
