Feb 20, 2008 · I make jewelry from brass and then I do a 6-step electroplating process: boil in ultrasonic solution, acid wash, heavy copper plating, brightening copper solution, then nickel plating, and finally gold plating with AuCn. After each process the brass is properly washed in tap water, mild solution of H2SO4 and then distilled water in between tanks.
