Feb 09, 2009 · As 'bolt' says, Jeweller's Rouge works. BUT, if you can feel the scratch when you run your nail over it, then - as bolt also says - forget it. You'd have to polish the surrounding area down to the scratch level which would take an absolute age, and might even leave a visible 'ripple' in the glass instead. devil's advocate, Jan 10, 2009.
