Aug 06, 2015 · The Falls, which are Portland’s only natural waterfall, were in the 85-acre (34.4 ha) Fore River Sanctuary. We reached them by short trails from limited parking at the end of Hillcrest Avenue. Grades on the dirt trails were easy to moderate. The lush summer canopy was mostly oak and pine. During the summer & fall, this is a fairly simple trail to walk.
