One of my favourite area's of Birmingham is the Jewellery Quarter and one of my favourite pubs to visit is The Brown Lion Pub, so when my twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of town we made a beeline to here to find it unfortunately closed, we both hope its a temporary closure as this pub is so inviting, a very nice interior, serves great beers poured by lovely staff ,had some great times …

The Brown Lion is under new ownership. Paul, (of Temple Street Social and previously the Sunflower Lounge) is bringing his unique 60s style and love of good music to the JQ via the Brown Lion. It still has the traditional pub feel, but with a nice refurb, and the addition of a piano, which is a promise of some great music nights to come.
