Breon O'Casey was a prolific artist and an important figure in 20th Century British art, known for his use of simple, nature inspired motifs and geometric shapes. Over his lifetime he mastered a wealth of artistic disciplines and was widely respected as a painter, printmaker, sculptor, weaver and jewellery maker.

Breon O’Casey, was one of the last survivors of the St Ives School of Art. He worked with and alongside artists such as Barbara Hepworth, Bernard Leach and Ben Nicholson. His desire to paint was always the driving force, but he found himself taking to other techniques such as jewellery, printmaking, weaving and then later in life, sculpture.
