In 1979, Alan opened the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and moved his studio to San Francisco’s Phelan Building, then the region’s jewelry center and home to over a hundred jewelry businesses. The prime Market Street location was centrally located and as enrollment grew so did the size of the studio/school.
